Gastritis Patient from China

In June 2023, I received a request from a former patient in Brisbane. I had treated her for obesity, and now she wanted me to help her cousin, an 18-year-old young man living in North China. He had experienced several health problems since childhood. During our consultation, she told me about his issues:

– Allergic Rhinitis

– Allergic skin purpura and fungal infection

– IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)

– Kidney stones (right side)

– High Uric Acid

After taking his case, I found these important points in his medical history:

– Frequent episodes of dysentery until age 10

– Surgery for small intestinal hernia

– Mycoplasma Pneumoniae infections with high fevers

– Psoriasis on his leg

– Gastritis

– Varicose veins on his legs

– Mood swings and poor mental health

I suggested some medical tests. His old reports and new tests showed 12 serious parameters that needed attention.

This case was handled through emails only, and I examined him using pictures. He was underweight because of his ongoing problems. His treatment started with his cousin’s support, who referred him to me and also translated, as neither he nor his family spoke English. I monitored his progress regularly, and his condition gradually improved. One challenge was to get him to follow a diet that suited his needs. Food and lifestyle guidance were very important, along with proper medication at the right time. The extremely cold weather also caused some difficulties.

After three months, his fever did not return, and his other symptoms improved as we continued treatment. After ten months, all 12 critical parameters were normal in his reports, and he had gained 10 kg in weight.
